Our collaborators at Weber Shandwick, NYC challenged Iontank to create and deploy a unique pop-up environment for Electrolux that could live up to their new Perfect Temp Refrigerator’s name. The concept was to create a cool oasis that would be used as the launchpad for a celebrity spokesperson to unveil the new product line. The inflatable structure was modified by Iontank to fit the site contours of Columbus Circle and chilled using two giant HVAC systems. Iontank developed the interior concepts and kept the muggy July weather at bay for the media teams and VIPs. Curious visitors were treated to cool gourmet beverages and could explore the fully stocked and functional refrigerators. Less than 24 hours from start to finish (including install and strike) meant clever coordination with little room for error. In the end, we delivered a Perfect pop-up all around.
