The Oreo Wonder Vault is a top-secret creative laboratory that is responsible for ushering new Oreo flavors into the world. After our success in bringing a full size Wonder Vault portal to life in NYC, our collaborators at Oreo and 360i commissioned Iontank to create an adorable roving Mini-Vault. The operator-controlled WonderBot made surprise visits to media influencers in NYC to deliver unique custom flavored Oreos that had never been released before.

To take things to the next level, the little Wonder Vault went on to star in promotions for the first fan flavor contest in Oreo’s history. After the contest winners were selected, the bot plotted its course and went on a national tour to deliver the first batch of custom flavors to each of the unsuspecting creators that dreamed them up. At each stop, the articulated onboard cameras caught ecstatic fan reactions for social media. In addition to a two-way remote video feed, the platform was also equipped with two-way audio transmission, underglow, 4-wheel drive, an articulating door, and an actuated tray to deliver the goods.

The Vault was entirely designed, fabricated and piloted by the Iontank team for the run of the campaign and we can tell you that our little bot is eagerly awaiting its return to the spotlight.
